Regent Park is one of the newest large residential neighbourhoods in the core — nearly all condo stock here was built in the last fifteen years as part of the ongoing revitalization. Buildings are mostly Daniels- and Tridel-built, with a mix of four-pipe fan coil systems in the earlier phases and increasingly VRF in the later phases.
Because everything here is relatively new, resident calls skew away from equipment failure and toward controls, comfort, and IAQ complaints. We handle a lot of 'my suite is stuffy' calls that trace back to closed-loop HRVs that were never balanced correctly at handover, and thermostat calls where the developer-installed controller isn't behaving.
For the community and rental buildings in the neighbourhood we work with property operators on scheduled fan coil maintenance programs; the density of stacked suites in these towers makes leak prevention a serious priority and coordinated annual service is far cheaper than reactive drywall repair.
